“Izay mamboly hazo, manome Aina”: whoever plants a tree gives life.
Aigle d’Or teams at the Anjeva Tanneries (municipality of Anjeva) began February by carrying out their annual reforestation project in collaboration with the Graine de Vie association. This initiative is fully in line with BASAN’s commitment to minimizing the environmental impact of its activities while strengthening its local roots.
Nearly 200 employees planted more than 2,500 young trees, including fruit trees and forest species. This was a carefully considered choice, designed to enhance the biodiversity of the Anjeva site, restore the soil in a sustainable manner, and create social and economic value for employees and local communities.
AIGLE D’OR is committed to this long-term approach through rigorous monitoring of the Anjeva site : regular visits, technical support from the HSE team, and awareness-raising activities aimed at ensuring the growth of the plantations and their long-term impact. The results of previous campaigns are already visible on the ground, demonstrating a concrete and measurable commitment.
Through this collective mobilization in Anjeva, Aigle d’Or reaffirms its conviction that industrial performance and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. This vision is shared with BASAN, with a view to building a sustainable future.
AIGLE D’OR. With me everyday.
