This year, Family Day provided an opportunity to highlight the SOCOALA program through a family tree-planting initiative. In keeping with its spirit of togetherness, the fifth edition brought employees and their loved ones together for a day filled with meaningful moments and shared experiences.
3,000 young trees planted
SOCOALA, the reforestation program of SOCOLAIT, has been replanting trees since 2023 to restore the Antsirabe ecosystem and protect the environment.
With this in mind, SOCOLAIT families – in collaboration with the association Cœur de Forêt Madagascar – have mobilized to replant 3,000 young trees, specially selected for their characteristics as native to the Vakinankaratra region.
Having fun, as a family
As always, SOCOLAIT children were at the heart of the Family Day activities. Despite the rain, joy and laughter filled the day. From bursts of laughter with the clown to dancing with the mascot, every detail was designed to bring them happiness and create lasting memories.
Parents, meanwhile, took part in a team-building session. The day concluded on a festive note, with live bapampa music and a karaoke session.
We are already looking forward to the next edition.
Family Day is far more than a program embedded in SOCOLAIT’s corporate culture. It is a special day each year when every employee has the opportunity to show their family the people who shape their daily work and the purpose that drives their profession.
