The milk route: a local commitment

The fresh milk of Antsirabe is much more than a simple raw ingredient.

It is the pride of the farmers from the Vakinankaratra region.

In the heart of the Betafo mountains, farmers care for their herds with love and respect for Malagasy traditions, letting the cows graze on the rich, fresh grass of the highland pastures.

In return, the cows produce creamy, full-bodied milk—floral in summer, herbal in winter—guaranteeing the flavor, indulgence, and nutritional quality of every SOCOLAIT product.

Every morning, when the milk arrives at the dairy, it is carefully transferred into large vats.
